So as you may have gathered if you read this blog is that I really enjoy dipping my Tyranids. It has really been quite effective, and I utilize the unique character of a dipped model into my aesthetic choices. My color of choice is Minwax Tudor Black. Well, I don't know if they've discontinued it or something, but I couldn't find it anywhere for the past few weeks. So I got "Classic Black:. After all, it's from th same series, so it must work characteristically similarly, right?
It went onto the my last Warrior as a deep, oily, opaque black...and then stayed that way!! Like tar. Like crude oil. It ended up looking like a cross between Alien and India ink.Well, I guess I have a Tyranid Prime now.
